In a high scoring game, Biratnagar Kings defeated Pokhara Avengers by 53 runs. Biratnagar Kings scored 220 run in 20 over, the first 200+ score in the history of Nepal Premier League. For Biratnagar Kings, Wicketkeeper opening batsman Lokesh Bam scored 72 of 48 balls and Martin Guptill scored 61 of 35 balls. Bashir Ahmed and Subham Ranjane accelerate the inning with some big hit at the end of the innings.
In return, Pokhara Avengers also had an electric starts for a while. Adam Rossington and the captain Kushal Bhurtel did some hammering with the bat but the progress was halted by the captain of Biratnagar Kings, Sandeep Lamichhane as he took quick 2 wicket in a over to change the momentum of the match. Pokhara Avengers never go the rhythm back. Pokhara Avengers managed to score 167 runs loosing all wickets.
