Historic day for Nepal as the Nepal cricket team clinches historic series win against USA in three-match T20 series.  This is Nepal’s first international series against the USA. Nepal clean swept the USA with a convincing 8-wicket victory in the final match held at Texas Grand Prairie Stadium.  In the first match of the series, Nepal won by 17 runs and second match was gone through the super over thriller. In the last match of the series, the USA posted a score of 156 for 5 in their allotted 20 overs. Nepal chased down the target efficiently, reaching 157 runs in just 18.2 overs.

Aamir Akhtar has submitted a seven point notice to the Cricket Association Of Nepal regarding the ownership of ‘Nepal Premier League”. In the notice, Akhtar claimed the ownership of the Nepal Premier League and insists that he holds all the rights of the League. Nepal Premier League is scheduled to take place from November 30 to December 21 in Kathmandu.

Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2024 auction is set to take place on October 6, in Kathmandu. NPL 2024 auction will start at 2:00 PM (NST) at the Soaltee Hotel, Kathmandu. A franchise can sign a maximum of 10 players from the auction and they should buy players from each category.

42 were shortlisted for the auction by the NPL Preparation Committee. A total of 27 players have been listed in the A category for the auction,  38 playersd in the B category and the C category has the largest number with 77 players.

Category A: Bid price starts from minimum of 10 lakhs with a maximum cap of 15 lakhs. If bids reach the maximum limit, a lucky draw will determine the final outcome.
Category B: The bidding for B category players will start at a minimum of 5 lakhs with a maximum cap of 10 lakhs. If bids reach the maximum limit, a lucky draw will determine the final outcome.
Category C: The bidding for C category players will start at a minimum of 2 lakhs with a maximum cap of 5 lakhs. If bids reach the maximum limit, a lucky draw will determine the final outcome.
