Nepal completes the historic T20I series in Sharjah by defeating the West Indies

Nepal defeated the West Indies for the second time in a row, securing the Unity Cup T20I series in the United Arab Emirates with one game remaining. Nepal scored a resounding 90-run victory in the second Twenty20 International.

The West Indies were bowled out for just 83 runs while chasing Nepal’s formidable score of 174. Although Jason Holder led the visitors in scoring with 21, the team never appeared to be in control of the match.

Adil Alam, who claimed four wickets for twenty-four runs in his four overs, was Nepal’s standout batsman. Three wickets were taken by Kushal Bhurtel, and one each by Lalit Rajbanshi and Dipendra Singh Airee.

Prior to this, Nepal scored 173/6 in 20 overs after winning the toss and choosing to bat first. With half-centuries, openers Aasif Sheikh and Sandeep Jora were brilliant. Jora hammered 63 off 39 balls, while Sheikh remained undefeated at 68 off 47 balls. After Nepal was having trouble at 43/3, the two formed an important 100-run partnership for the fourth wicket.
