July 12, Kathmandu – The registration process for players wishing to enter the auction for the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) has officially begun. Any Nepali cricketer hoping to take part in the tournament must register online.
The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), the organizer of the NPL, announced in a press release on Friday that the registration is now open for both players recently released by franchise teams and new players looking to enter the auction pool for the first time. Interested players can register by filling out an online form.
Players will be categorized into three groups: A, B, and C. Each player can choose the category they want to be listed under. The registration fee is set at NPR 1,000 per player, and the deadline to register is July 22, 2025 (6th of Shrawan).
A mini auction for the second season of the NPL is scheduled for August. All eight teams have already announced their retained players.
Now, players released from the first season along with those who register and are selected will go under the hammer in the upcoming auction.
